Neurosurgery is a field of medicine dealing with diagnosis and surgical treatment of the nervous system in the area of the brain, spinal cord, peripheral nerves and the vascular system.

Vital Medic Neurosurgery Clinic offers full-profile diagnostics and treatment of central and peripheral nervous system diseases, which includes:

The Clinic also has top-class diagnostic equipment located at Vital Medic’s Diagnostic Imaging Laboratory.: Diagnostic devices include state-of-the-art magnetic resonance scanner, computer tomography scanner and a digital X-ray, which – due to very precise nature of neurosurgical procedures – enables to obtain very detailed data of the area in question.

Based on scan results obtained with the diagnostic equipment, the neurosurgeon refers the patient for rehabilitation or, if warranted by the patient’s condition, for a surgery.
Both rehabilitation applied instead of surgery and late-surgery rehabilitation following a neurosurgical procedure, may be conducted at the Rehabilitation Clinic of the Vital Medic Hospital.

Patients referred to and qualified for neurosurgical procedures may be hospitalised Neurosurgery Ward of the Vital Medic Hospital.

Neurosurgical consultations are provided as private individual services and do not require referral from the primary care physician.
